The 48th Conference of Arab Police and Security Leaders commenced this Wednesday, December 4, at the headquarters of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunis, with representatives from all member states in attendance.

The President of Tunisia, Kais Saied, presided over the inauguration of the conference, which aims to address various critical topics. Key agenda items include discussions on combating financial cyber fraud, sharing outstanding security practices, reviewing recommendations from past conferences of security sector heads, and deliberations from committee meetings held under the General Secretariat in 2024.

Additionally, the conference will evaluate outcomes from the 47th edition of the Arab Police and Security Leaders Conference and present the annual report of the Arab Police Sports Union.

This high-profile event underscores the collective commitment of Arab states to enhance regional security and foster collaboration among law enforcement agencies.
