Tunisia and Madagascar Enhance Cooperation with New Agreements

During a working visit to Tunisia by Malagasy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rafaravavitafika Rasata, hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, both nations agreed to strengthen bilateral ties.

Discussions on January 13, 2025, focused on advancing collaboration in tourism, ICT, renewable energy, education, and sustainable industries, stated the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.

The two foreign ministers emphasized leveraging platforms like ZLECAF and COMESA to boost trade and foster economic growth, alongside organizing regular expert meetings to implement agreements. Tunisia reiterated its support for Palestinian rights and its commitment to African stability and equitable global governance.

The visit marked 55 years of diplomatic relations, culminating in the signing of agreements for cooperation, political consultations, and ICT collaboration, setting the stage for deeper partnerships between the two nations.
