Tunisia, Libya: Discussing Cooperation in Social Field

On February 6, 2025, Ms. Asma Jabari, Tunisia’s Minister of Family, Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, welcomed Ms. Wafa Abu Bakr Al-Kilani, Libya’s Minister of Social Affairs and President of the Arab Organization for the Family, who is paying an official visit to Tunis.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Tunisia and Libya in areas such as family welfare, women’s rights, child protection, and senior citizen care.

Minister Al-Kilani expressed her interest in enhancing partnerships and sharing experiences to improve social programs. The Libyan delegation also visited the National Center for Child-Oriented Media and the « Umm al-Khair » senior care facility to learn about Tunisia’s initiatives in child development and elderly care.
