On March 20, 2025, Tunisian President Kais Saied received a phone call from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who extended his congratulations on the 69th anniversary of Tunisia’s Independence Day on behalf of himself and the Algerian people.
The call reaffirmed both leaders’ shared commitment to strengthening the historic ties between their countries and peoples.
