China Exempts Citizens of Five Countries from Entry Visas

Starting from June 1, 2025, citizens of Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay will be allowed to enter China without a visa under a trial program that will run until May 31, 2026, as reported by the Chinese news agency Xinhua.

This new visa-free policy will allow holders of ordinary passports from these five countries to enter China for business, tourism, family or friend visits, cultural exchanges, or transit purposes without the need for a visa, provided their stay does not exceed 30 days, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian.
