Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti will lead the national delegation participating in the Third United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, France, from June 9 to 13, 2025.

Held under the theme “Conserve and Sustainably Use the Oceans for Sustainable Development,” the conference aims to advance the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14.

Minister Nafti will deliver a speech highlighting Tunisia’s environmental efforts, its vision for sustainable development, and its expectations from the global forum.

The event offers Tunisia an opportunity to showcase its progress and challenges in protecting marine ecosystems, attract investment in the blue economy, and strengthen international partnerships.

Key issues on the agenda include seabed mining, plastic pollution, overfishing, and the sustainable use of marine resources.
