Tunisian President Receives Saudi Foreign Minister in Carthage

Tunisian President Kais Saied received Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Monday, September 9, at the Carthage Palace during the minister’s official visit to Tunisia.

The talks underscored the strong ties between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia and a shared commitment to expanding cooperation. President Saied also raised regional concerns, warning of attempts to undermine Arab and Islamic nations, and reaffirmed Tunisia’s firm support for Palestine.

He condemned Israeli actions against civilians and rejected forced displacement, stressing that Palestinians have the right to reclaim their land and establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
