Tunisia Hosts First Regional Conference on Health Technology Assessment

According to the Tunisian Ministry of Health, Tunisia will host the first Regional Conference on Health Technology Assessment (HTA) for the Middle East and North Africa on September 24–25, 2025. The event is organized by the International Society for Health Technology Assessment (HTAi) in collaboration with Tunisia’s National Authority for Health Evaluation and Accreditation.

The conference will bring together participants from more than 28 countries, including international experts, researchers, pharmaceutical industry representatives, and global organizations.

Its goals include strengthening regional cooperation on HTA, supporting evidence-based health policies, positioning Tunisia as a regional hub for excellence, and promoting innovation to improve healthcare quality through the rational use of technology.
