Riadh Gouider: First Tunisian and Arab Elected Vice President of the World Federation of Neurology

In a landmark achievement for Tunisian medicine, Professor Riadh Gouider, one of Tunisia’s leading neurologists, has been elected First Vice President of the World Federation of Neurology (WFN).

This historic election took place during the World Congress of Neurology, held in Seoul from October 12 to 15, 2025. Professor Gouider is now the first Tunisian and Arab to hold this prestigious position within the global neurological community.

His appointment is a source of pride not only for Tunisia but also for the entire Arab world, reflecting the growing recognition of regional expertise on the international medical stage.
