U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an agreement officially establishing the so-called Peace Council for Gaza, an initiative he described as a body aimed at supporting conflict resolution related to the Gaza Strip. The signing took place in Davos in the presence of the council’s founding members.
White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt announced during the ceremony that the agreement had entered into full force, confirming that the Peace Council for Gaza is now an officially recognized international organization.
