Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Riadh Chaoued is participating in the 3rd International Labour Market Conference, held on 26–27 January 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the theme “Shaping the Future.” The conference aims to develop a forward-looking vision for new opportunities in international and regional cooperation to promote employment and professional integration.
The event brings together Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, labour ministers from participating countries, representatives of G20 states, diplomats, international and regional organizations, experts, and civil society representatives.
Speaking at the ministerial meeting, Minister Chaoued praised Saudi Arabia for hosting the conference, describing it as a key global platform for dialogue on labour market challenges and human capital development.
He reaffirmed that human capital is central to Tunisia’s development strategy and highlighted the country’s commitment to youth engagement, decent work, and social and economic inclusion.
The minister also outlined Tunisia’s efforts to tackle unemployment by aligning skills with labour market needs, boosting employability, and enhancing enterprise competitiveness through skills development, demand-driven training, lifelong learning, and digital tools to anticipate future jobs.
