On Friday, August 1, 2025, Mehdi Helloui, Director General of the National Tourism Office, announced that the number of visitors to Tunisia reached 5,279,768 by July 20, 2025. This marks a 19.8% increase compared to 2024, and a 16.2% rise compared to the reference year of 2019.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Ministry of Tourism, Helloui also reported that tourism revenues hit 3,899.1 million dinars, reflecting an 8.2% increase over the same period last year.
