Tunisian and Belgian Foreign Ministers Agree to Boost Cooperation

On the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti met on 25 September 2025 with Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot.

The two officials reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the long-standing friendship and cooperation between Tunisia and Belgium. Minister Nafti emphasized the importance of holding political and diplomatic consultations before the end of the year to address shared priorities. He also highlighted the need for close coordination ahead of the Tunisian-European Association Council meeting scheduled for late October.
