Tunisia and Bulgaria Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

On February 28th, 2025, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ben Ayed, met with the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Tunisia, Veselin Dyankov.

They discussed the long-standing ties between Tunisia and Bulgaria since 1956, emphasizing the need to strengthen cooperation through high-level visits and EU partnerships. The Ambassador highlighted the importance of deepening collaboration, especially with the upcoming 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations, and reaffirmed Bulgaria’s support for Tunisia’s EU approach.
