The Tunisian Government has announced that, due to the continued deterioration of weather conditions and heavy rainfall, classes will be suspended for the entire day on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

This suspension applies to all public and private educational, training, and higher education institutions, as well as public and private kindergardens, in the following governorates: El Kef, Béja, Jendouba, Siliana, Bizerte, Nabeul, Zaghouan, Sousse, Monastir, Mahdia, Sfax, Tunis, Ariana, Ben Arous, and Manouba.

The decision comes as a preventive measure to ensure the safety of students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel amid ongoing adverse weather conditions.
